the legal profession in California by signing up with My Law Student Profile.
Sign up to receive:
- The California Bar e-Journal (a periodic publication
for law students)
- Information about the State Bar’s 16 law practice Sections
- Announcements about special events such as career forums and workshops
- Information about other areas of interest such as scholarships, mentoring
programs, pro bono activities, etc.
- Opportunities offered by voluntary and special interest bar associations
IMPORTANT NOTE: Law students must register with the Committee
of Bar Examiners within 90 days of beginning the study of law (Business
& Professions Code section 6060(d)). Registration
information can be found on the State Bar’s Web site. Creating a My
Law Student Profile does not fulfill a law student’s obligation to
register with the Committee of Bar Examiners.
